Product Image URL Checker
Paste your product CSV's image URLs and see, one by one, which ones actually load in a browser before you import.
Paste image URLs, one per line, or a product CSV (we'll find the image column)
This checks whether each URL actually loads as an image in a browser, the way a shopper or your platform's importer would see it, not just its HTTP status code. A hotlink block or a redirect to a login page can still return 200 but fail to display.
What "broken" means here
This loads each URL as an actual image in your browser, the same way a shopper's browser (or your platform's importer) would, rather than just checking the HTTP status code. That catches problems a plain status check misses: a hotlink-protected image, or a URL that redirects to a login page, can both return a normal 200 status while still failing to display as a picture.
Paste a plain list of URLs, one per line, or paste a whole product CSV and it finds the image column (image_link, Image Src and similar names) for you automatically.
Limits to know about
It checks up to 300 images per run, six at a time, to stay responsive in your browser. For a larger catalog, split the file and run it in batches. A slow CDN can also show as "timed out" here (after 8 seconds) even if it would eventually load; treat that as a warning to investigate, not a certain failure.
Questions people ask
Why does a URL show broken here but works when I paste it into a new tab?
Some hosts block requests that don't look like they came from a normal page load, or block based on the referring site. Test again from the actual product page, not just a new browser tab.
Does this check image dimensions or file size?
No, only whether the URL loads as a displayable image. Check your platform's own image requirements (minimum size, file size limits) separately.
Can I download just the broken ones?
Yes, there's a button to download a CSV of only the broken and timed-out URLs once a check finishes.
Does this work for private or password-protected images?
No, it only sees what an ordinary shopper's browser would, so anything behind a login won't load here either.
