Orders to Shipping Software CSV
Convert a store orders export into an import-ready file for Pirate Ship, ShipStation or Royal Mail Click & Drop.
One order, one shipping row
Unlike a line-item export, a shipping label is per order, not per product, so this groups your orders export back down to one row per order (name, address and an item summary) and writes it out in the layout each destination expects.
Why exact headers matter less than you'd think
Pirate Ship, ShipStation and Royal Mail Click & Drop all map CSV columns visually the first time you upload a new file format, rather than requiring an exact header match. Clear, sensible headers (what this tool outputs) make that first mapping step faster, but if a platform maps a column to the wrong field, just fix it on the mapping screen before you finish the import.
Questions people ask
Do the column headers have to match exactly?
No. All three platforms let you map columns during import, headers just need to be clear enough to map correctly, or you fix the mapping by hand on the upload screen.
Does this create shipping labels for me?
No, it only builds the import file. You still upload it to Pirate Ship, ShipStation or Click & Drop yourself and buy the labels there.
What happens to international customs details?
This doesn't fill in commodity or customs fields (HS codes, item value per line, and similar), which international shipments typically need. Add those on the platform itself, or in the file, before importing.
My orders export has different column names, will it still work?
It's built around Shopify's order CSV export with generic fallbacks for other formats. Check the row count and the preview before uploading; an unrecognized format may leave some fields blank.
