WooCommerce Bulk Price Updater
Upload your product export, apply a percent or fixed price change with .99 rounding, and download a minimal file to re-import.
A percent for % changes, or a plain currency amount for the others.
What it changes
Upload your own product export (Products → All Products → Export). Choose whether to increase or decrease by a percent or a fixed amount, or set an exact price, and whether to round the result up to .99. You can limit the change to rows whose Categories column contains a word you choose, and optionally adjust stock at the same time.
+10% on regular price, rounded to .99
- Stoneware Mug
- $18.00 → $19.99
- Oak Serving Board
- $42.00 → $46.99
6 of 7 rows in the sample file were matched and changed; the 7th (a variable product's parent row, which carries no price of its own) was left out, and both of its variation rows were updated individually.
Re-importing the change
- 01
Export your products
Products → All Products → Export, all columns, CSV format.
- 02
Set the change
Upload the export here, choose the change and whether to round to .99, and optionally filter by category or adjust stock.
- 03
Download and re-import
The output only has ID, SKU, Type, and the columns you changed. Import it at Products → All Products → Import with “Update existing products” checked. WooCommerce matches rows by ID, then by SKU.
Pitfalls
- A variable product's parent row has no price of its own in WooCommerce; only its variation rows do. Make sure your export includes the variation rows, not just parents.
- Rounding to .99 always rounds up, so a price that's already round (like $20.00 with no change applied) can still end up at $20.99 if it's included in the change.
- The category filter matches if your text appears anywhere in the Categories cell, so “Kitchen” also matches “Home > Kitchen > Mugs”.
Questions people ask
Can I change stock at the same time as price?
Yes. Turn on “Also change stock” and choose to set a fixed number or increase or decrease the current value.
Does this work on a Shopify export?
No, the column names are different. Use your own WooCommerce export (Products → All Products → Export).
What happens to the sale price if I only change the regular price?
It's carried through unchanged in the output file when you include it in “Apply to”, or left out of the file entirely if you only chose Regular price.
Will this touch variable product parent rows?
No. Parent rows carry no price of their own, so they're left out. Their variation rows are treated like any other priced row.
