WooCommerce Product Exporter
Pull the published products from any WooCommerce store's own Store API into a WooCommerce, Shopify, or JSON file, without installing a plugin.
Where the data comes from
Every WooCommerce store ships with the Store API, a public, unauthenticated REST API at /wp-json/wc/store/v1/, used by the store's own cart and checkout. This tool reads its /products endpoint, up to 100 products per request and up to 5 requests per export (about 500 products), and converts the result into a downloadable file.
Prices come back as plain strings in the currency's smallest unit, alongside a currency_minor_unit value.

The file lists the products the Store API returned, with name, SKU, price, stock status, categories, and image URLs.
Pitfalls
- This only sees what shoppers see: published, purchasable products, their current prices, and public stock status. It won't include drafts, cost data, or individual variation rows.
- Some security plugins or firewalls block
/wp-json/entirely, which makes the export fail. If that's your own store, export from Products → All Products → Export in WP Admin instead. - A catalog bigger than about 500 products is capped at the first 500 in this version.
Questions people ask
Does this work on any WooCommerce store?
Most of them. The Store API ships in WooCommerce core and is on by default, but some security plugins or firewalls block public REST requests to /wp-json/.
Do I need to be logged in to the store?
No, the Store API is public. For your own store, WP Admin's own exporter (Products → All Products → Export) gives you more fields, including drafts and cost data.
Will it export product variations?
Not in this version, only product-level rows. Variation data isn't part of the public Store API product list.
Is there a limit on how many products it reads?
Yes, about 500 products (5 pages of 100) per run, to keep each check quick.
