WooCommerce Orders Exporter
Pull orders or customers straight from your store's REST API into a CSV, with a read-only key and no plugin to install.
Your store
Create a Read key under WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API. Your key is sent straight from this browser tab to your store; it's never sent to us.
How the export works
This calls your store's REST API (/wp-json/wc/v3/orders or /customers) directly from your browser, paging through results until it has everything (or hits the record limit you set), then builds a CSV you can download.
Create a Read-only key under WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API before you start. Read is enough, you're only exporting, not changing anything.
If the export fails to connect
Browsers block a page on one domain from calling an API on another domain unless that API explicitly allows it (CORS). WooCommerce doesn't allow this site's origin by default, so a first attempt often fails with a connection error.
- 01
Add the temporary snippet
The tool shows a small PHP snippet using WordPress's
rest_pre_serve_requestfilter. Add it with a code snippets plugin, or drop it in your theme's functions.php. - 02
Run the export
Re-run the export. It should connect this time.
- 03
Remove the snippet
Take it back out once you're done, so the store isn't left with an open CORS rule.
Questions people ask
Does my consumer secret get sent to your server?
No. The fetch happens directly from your browser to your store. This site never sees your key or secret.
Why did I get a connection error?
Almost always CORS: your store hasn't allowed this site to call its API from a browser. Add the temporary snippet shown in the tool, export, then remove it.
What columns does the CSV include?
For orders: ID, status, date, currency, total, payment method, customer email, billing and shipping name/address, and a line-item summary. For customers: ID, email, name, username, phone and both addresses.
Is there a limit on how many records I can pull?
You set a maximum (up to 5,000). The tool pages through the API 100 records at a time until it reaches that number or runs out of orders.
