AI Shopify Section Generator
Describe a section in plain English and get a Liquid section (or theme block) file with a schema that passes strict parsing.
Why hand-written sections break: the schema
Shopify parses the JSON inside {% schema %} strictly: one tag per file, no comments, no trailing commas, and every setting id unique within the section. The generator writes to that rule, using only real setting types (text, richtext, image_picker, url, color, range, select and the rest of Shopify's documented list) with the exact extra keys each one needs, like min/max/step for a range or an options array for a select.
Ask for a Theme block instead of a section when you want something reusable inside several different sections (a countdown badge, a trust-icon row); ask for Merchant-added blocks when the content is a repeatable list (cards, logos, testimonials) the merchant should be able to add, remove and reorder in the theme editor.
CSS that can't leak into other sections
Any styling the section needs goes inside Shopify's {% style %} tag, scoped with #shopify-section-{{ section.id }} as the outer selector. That's the same mechanism theme.liquid uses for color settings that update live in the editor, and it stops the section's CSS from also affecting a second copy of the same section elsewhere on the page.

Questions people ask
Section or theme block, which do I want?
A section for something that appears once on a page (a hero, a feature row). A theme block when you want the same piece reusable inside several different sections.
Will the schema definitely pass Shopify's validation?
It's written to Shopify's documented schema rules (valid JSON, unique setting ids, real setting types). Paste it into Edit code and check the editor's own error panel before publishing, the way you would with any hand-written section.
Can merchants edit the text and images themselves afterwards?
Yes. Every editable piece becomes a setting in the schema, so it shows up in the theme editor's sidebar with no code needed to change it.
What if I want the same section on Online Store and inside an app block?
Ask for a theme block: it can be dropped into any section, on any template, wherever that section accepts blocks.
I have existing HTML I want converted instead of a description.
Use the HTML to Liquid converter: paste your markup and CSS and it comes back as a section.
