Shopify's real rounding rule is fixed per currency and always rounds up; it can't be set to a custom increment inside Shopify. This calculator lets you model any increment so you can sanity-check a market's price before it goes live in Markets > Pricing.
How Shopify actually rounds
Shopify's own Markets pricing always rounds up to a fixed increment it sets per currency, turned on under Markets > the market > currency > Price rounding. You can't set a custom increment inside Shopify itself; it's on or off per currency, using Shopify's own value.

Questions people ask
Can I turn off rounding for one market?
Yes, price rounding is a toggle per market currency in Shopify admin. Off, prices show the raw converted amount with cents.
Does rounding apply to shipping rates too?
Shopify's rounding setting affects converted prices; check your specific market's shipping rate setup, since some rates are set manually per market rather than converted.
Are gift cards affected by rounding?
No, Shopify excludes gift cards from price rounding rules.
Why does my calculated price not match what Shopify shows?
Shopify uses live exchange rates that update regularly, and its own fixed increment per currency. Update the rate and increment in this calculator to match what Shopify currently shows for that market.
