How WFS fees are calculated
Walmart Fulfillment Services charges a fulfillment fee per unit shipped and a storage fee per cubic foot per month. There's no setup or monthly fee. Rates last checked 30 Sep 2026 on Walmart's pricing page.
- 01
Work out dimensional weight
Length × width × height in inches ÷ 139.
- 02
Pick the weight
Under 1 lb, use the unit weight. From 1 lb to 150 lb, use the greater of unit weight and dimensional weight.
- 03
Add packaging and round up
Add 0.25 lb and round up to the next whole pound. That's the shipping weight.
- 04
Look up the fee

Using WFS alongside your own store
- Compare with your own fulfillment. Set the WFS fee plus storage against what it costs you to pick, pack and ship the same item for your Shopify or WooCommerce orders. The Walmart seller fee calculator covers the self-fulfilled side.
- Keep a price floor. Use the profit figure to set the lowest Walmart price you'll accept. In Shopify, prices live on the product under Products; in WooCommerce, under Products, then Product data > General.
- Mind the step-downs. Walmart's published card charges $15.55 at 21 lb but $14.55 at 31 lb and $17.55 at 51 lb. Near those weights, confirm the fee with the WFS cost estimator in Seller Center.
- Under $10 costs an extra $1. A multipack priced at $10 or more avoids the surcharge.
- Big & bulky means over 150 lb, a longest side over 108 in, or length plus girth over 165 in. WFS takes items up to 500 lb and 120 in long.
