- Average order
- $80, 300 orders a month
- Foreign cards
- 10% of orders (+1.5%)
- Currency conversion
- 5% of orders (+1%)

Cutting your WooPayments fees
- 01
Add payout currencies
The conversion fee applies when a customer pays in a currency you have no payout bank account for. If one foreign currency brings a lot of orders, check whether WooPayments can pay out to a bank account in that currency.
- 02
Price in your customers' currency
WooPayments' multi-currency feature shows shoppers local prices. Conversion fees still apply unless you have a matching payout account, so price for them.
- 03
Watch disputes
Each dispute costs a flat fee (for example $15 in the US), refunded if you win. Clear shipping and refund policies prevent most of them.
WooPayments fees aren't refunded when you refund an order. In the UK, EU and Australia, VAT or GST is added to the fees unless you're registered and give your tax ID. Rates last checked 30 Sep 2026.
