Candle Business Name Generator
Get candle business names matched to your feel, cozy to luxury to botanical, with no wellbeing or "clean burning" claims your details don't support.
Feel and product focus
- Cozy: warm, homely names about evenings, light and comfort.
- Luxury: understated, refined: a single elegant word or a surname-style name, never the word "luxury" itself.
- Botanical: drawn from plants, gardens and seasons.
- Witty: clever or funny, still easy to say.
- Minimal: short and calm, one or two words.
If you set the product focus to Candles and home fragrance or Candles and bath, the generator avoids names that only fit candles (light, flame, wick, glow) so the brand still works for diffusers, sprays or bath products you may add.
No health or wellbeing claims, such as "healing", "calm your mind" or "clean burning", appear in a name unless your details state them.
Before you commit
- 01
Search the trademark databases
Search the name in the USPTO trademark search if you sell in the US, and the WIPO Global Brand Database for other countries. Look for the same or similar-sounding names on related products, not only exact matches.
- 02
Search the web and social platforms
Search Google, Instagram, TikTok and the marketplaces you sell on for a business already using the name.
- 03
Check the domain and handles
Check the domain with a registrar and the social handles on each platform you plan to use. Nothing is yours until you register it.
- 04
Get a second opinion
Say your top three out loud to a few people and ask them to spell it back. Before you pay for a logo or packaging, have a trademark attorney run a clearance search.
Questions people ask
Why avoid "Candle Co" as the main part of the name?
It's descriptive and generic, which makes it a weak trademark on its own. The generator can use it at the end of a name, but not as the only distinctive word.
I might add diffusers later. Does that change anything?
Pick Candles and home fragrance as the product focus, and the generator avoids candle-only words so the name still fits when you expand.
Can a name say "non-toxic" or "clean burning"?
Only if your details state it. Otherwise the generator leaves those words out, since they're claims a buyer could hold you to.
What if I want a name built around my own name?
Choose "Uses my name" as the style and add it under Details.
