Slogan Generator
Get slogans from five different angles (benefit, promise, short and punchy, playful, customer), each sized to fit a header, a label or Shopify's slogan field.
Five angles, so you get real variety
- Benefit: what the customer gets.
- Promise: what the brand stands for, built only from what you tell it.
- Short and punchy: two to four words.
- Playful: a light rhyme, pun or twist that still says something real.
- Customer: speaks directly to who buys it.
Every slogan is 2 to 8 words and under 60 characters, so it fits a site header, a product label or Shopify's 80-character slogan field, and no more than a third of them use the brand name.
Where to put it
| Use | What changes |
|---|---|
| Store tagline | Sums up the whole brand |
| Ad or social | More direct and energetic |
| Product or collection | About the specific product you name |
| Packaging | Short enough to print small, 2 to 5 words |
Once you've picked one, search it in quotes on Google and in the USPTO trademark search to check another business in your market isn't already using it.
Questions people ask
How many words should a slogan be?
2 to 8 words and under 60 characters is the range the generator writes to, so it fits comfortably in a header, on a label, or in Shopify's 80-character slogan field.
Can a slogan claim we're "the best" or "#1"?
No. The generator avoids claims your details don't support, including "best", "#1", "organic" or "guaranteed", unless you state them.
Should every slogan include the brand name?
No. At most a third of them do, since a slogan usually sits right next to the logo or store name already.
Can I check if a slogan is already trademarked?
The generator can't check, but search it in quotes on Google and in the USPTO trademark search before you commit to it.
Where do I add a slogan in Shopify or WooCommerce?
Shopify: Settings > General > Brand assets, or straight into your home page banner. WooCommerce: many themes show the Tagline from Settings > General in the header, or add it to your hero section.
