Your brief

These form details are sent to our AI provider when you generate. Review the result before publishing.

The three pieces of a feed ad

  • Primary text sits above the image or video. Keep the point in the first line: Meta's Ads Guide notes that longer text gets cut off behind a "See more" link, so the opening sentence has to carry the message on its own.
  • Headline sits under the image, short and direct.
  • Description is the smallest, supporting line, shown in fewer placements than the headline.

The generator writes 3 variations, each from a different angle, plus one longer version of the primary text to test against the short ones.

Matching the copy to the audience

AudienceWhat changes
New audienceSays plainly what the product is; they don't know your brand yet
Warm (visitors, followers)Skips the introduction and leads with what's new or the offer
Retargeting (cart or product viewers)Answers a likely doubt (fit, quality, shipping) instead of repeating the product pitch

Only proof you actually give (a rating, a review count, press) makes it into the copy. Nothing is invented.

Setting it up in Ads Manager

  1. 01

    Create the ad

In Ads Manager, at the ad level, paste the primary text, headline and description into their fields.

  2. 02

    Preview every placement

Use the placements preview to check the text isn't cut off oddly on Stories, Reels or Marketplace, since each placement shows a different amount.

  3. 03

    Test two at a time

Run two variations against each other with a small budget before committing spend to a winner.

Questions people ask

How long should Facebook ad primary text be?

Short enough to make its point before it's cut off. Meta's Ads Guide notes that longer primary text gets hidden behind a "See more" link on some placements, so the first sentence should stand alone.

Can I mention a discount or rating I haven't verified?

No. Add only proof you can back up, such as a real review count, under Proof you can back up. The generator never invents ratings, review counts or sales figures.

What's the difference between the audience options?

A new audience needs the product explained plainly. A warm audience already knows your brand. Retargeting answers the doubt that's likely stopping a cart or product viewer from buying.

Does this work for Instagram too?

Yes. Facebook and Instagram feed ads use the same primary text, headline and description fields when you run a single ad set across both.

I need ads for a whole catalog, not one product.

Use the dynamic product ad generator for Advantage+ catalog ad templates that pull in each product's details automatically.
