How it works

Export your products from Shopify first (Products → Export), then upload that file here. This tool reads the Handle, SKU, Price and Compare-at price columns and rewrites Price and Compare-at price for every row.

Ending a sale reverses this: the compare-at price becomes the new price, and compare-at price is cleared, so the product shows no strikethrough price.

Importing the result

    Go to Products → Import

    In your Shopify admin, upload the downloaded CSV.

  2. 02

    Check "Overwrite products with matching handles"

    Without this, Shopify creates new blank products instead of updating your existing ones.

  3. 03

    Confirm the import

    Shopify shows a preview of how many products will change before you confirm.

The download only has Handle, SKU, Price and Compare-at price. Shopify clears any column left blank during an overwrite import, so keeping the file this small avoids touching anything else about your products.

Questions people ask

Does this change my live prices right away?

No. It only builds a CSV. Nothing changes in your store until you import that file in your Shopify admin.

Can I round sale prices to end in .99?

Not automatically yet. Check the Price column in the preview and adjust by hand if you want psychological pricing.

What happens to products that are already on sale?

By default they're skipped when starting a new sale, so you don't discount an already-discounted price. Turn that off if you want to re-discount everything.

Can I use this to permanently lower prices instead of a sale?

Yes: use "End a sale" mode with 0 as the discount, or edit the Price column in the downloaded file directly before importing.
