Shopify Inventory CSV Builder
Turn a supplier's SKU and quantity list into Shopify's per-location inventory CSV.
Must match a location under Settings → Locations in your Shopify admin, exactly.
How it works
Shopify's simpler inventory CSV format has a column per location, with the available quantity for that SKU underneath. This tool builds that layout: it looks for SKU and Quantity (or Stock) columns, and pivots a Location column into separate columns if your sheet has one.
If your sheet only covers one location, give that location's exact name below (matching your Shopify admin) instead.

Questions people ask
Does a location name have to match exactly?
Yes. Shopify matches locations by name, and it's case-sensitive, so "Warehouse" and "warehouse" are treated as different locations.
What if a SKU doesn't exist in Shopify yet?
The import won't create a new product from an inventory CSV. Add the product first (for example with the Supplier CSV Mapper), then set its stock here.
Can I set stock for several locations at once?
Yes, if your source sheet has a Location column, each distinct location becomes its own column in the output automatically.
Does this replace or add to existing stock?
Shopify's inventory CSV import sets stock to the number in the file; it doesn't add to what's already there.
