Drop your supplier's product sheet (from Excel or Google Sheets, saved as CSV) here or browse files

CSV up to 25 MB. It's read in your browser and never uploaded.

Rows with the same value in this column become variants of one product. Leave blank to auto-detect, or to treat every row as its own product.

Leave blank to auto-detect a Size/Color/Variant column.

How it works

Supplier sheets never use Shopify's column names. This tool looks for common column names (Title, Item Name, Product Name, and so on) and matches them to what Shopify expects, so you don't have to rename anything by hand first.

  • Price, cost, SKU, barcode, quantity, weight, brand, category and image columns are matched by name automatically.
  • If your sheet groups variants under a shared column (like Parent SKU or Model), turn that into one Shopify product with several variants.
  • A Size, Color or Variant column becomes the variant option automatically. Override either column below if the guess is wrong.

Because supplier sheets vary so much, this is a best-effort mapper, not a fixed template. Check the column-match note under your results, and fix any column name it couldn't guess before you import.

Importing the result

  1. 01

    Check the preview

Scroll the table at the bottom and confirm titles, prices and variants look right.

  2. 02

    Go to Products → Import

In your Shopify admin, open Products, click Import, and upload the downloaded CSV.

  3. 03

    Leave overwrite off

For new products, leave "Overwrite products with matching handles" unchecked so you don't touch anything that already exists.

New products come in as drafts by default, so you can review them before publishing. Switch the status option to Active if you're confident in the mapping.

Questions people ask

What if it maps the wrong column to Price?

Rename that column in your spreadsheet to something clearer, like "Price", and upload again. There's no manual drag-and-drop mapper here, just automatic name matching.

Can it read an Excel file directly?

No. Save your spreadsheet as CSV first (File → Save As → CSV in Excel or Google Sheets), then upload that.

How does it know which rows are variants of the same product?

It groups rows that share a value in a "parent" column (like Parent SKU). If your sheet has no such column, every row becomes its own product.

Will it set cost per item?

Yes, if it finds a wholesale, cost or unit cost column. Cost per item is only visible to you in Shopify, never to customers.
