Title, description and tags

Poshmark's own guide caps the title at 80 characters and asks for brand, style name, category, size and color. Because phones show only the start of a title, the tool puts brand and item type in the first 25 characters.

  • Title: brand, item or style name, item type, the defining detail, then size if there's room. "NWT" is only added when condition is New with tags.
  • Description: what it is and how it wears, then a fact block (brand, size, color, material, fit, measurements, condition), then your bundle note if you have one.
  • Style tags: exactly three, describing silhouette, material or aesthetic, never repeating the title or category.

Questions people ask

What does NWT mean, and when does the tool use it?

NWT means new with tags. The tool only adds it to the title when you choose New with tags as the condition, so it never claims tags are attached when they aren't.

How long can a Poshmark title be?

80 characters. The tool aims for 45 to 70 so it never runs long, with brand and item type inside the first 25 characters where phones cut it off.

What's the bundle note for?

Poshmark's Bundle feature lets buyers combine items from your closet for a discount you set. If you offer one, add a line like "Bundle 2+ for a private discount" and the description ends with it.

Does it disclose flaws?

Yes, whatever you list under Flaws to disclose gets named in the description, in Poshmark's Used with visible wear or Gently used condition wording.

Is it free?

Yes, with a fair-use limit so it stays free for everyone. There's no sign-up. Your item details is sent to an AI model only to write the result.
