How it works

Pick a shape (square or 16:9 wide), set the longest side, and the tool resizes every photo you drop in the same way, so a whole listing's photo set comes out consistent. Turn on trimming to center the product and control how much of the frame it fills.

eBay's guidance also says to avoid text, artwork, logos or watermarks on the photo itself, since they can stop it from appearing in eBay's and third-party image search.

Questions people ask

What's the minimum photo size for eBay?

500 x 500 pixels. eBay can block a listing whose photos don't meet it, so treat it as a hard floor, not a target.

What size does eBay recommend?

At least 1,600 x 1,600 pixels, according to eBay's Seller Center. That's this tool's default.

How many photos can one eBay listing have?

Up to 24, per eBay's Seller Center guidance. The first one is what shows in search results, so make it the clearest shot of the whole item.

Can I add my logo or watermark to eBay photos?

eBay advises against it: text, artwork, logos and watermarks on the photo can stop it appearing in eBay's and third-party image search results.
