Amazon A+ Content Generator
Get headline and body copy for each A+ module, a brief for every image, and comparison-chart text for your own product range.
What A+ Content is, and who can use it
A+ Content replaces the plain description with images, text layouts and comparison charts. Amazon's A+ guide says Basic A+ Content needs a Professional selling plan and Brand Registry enrollment, and allows up to five modules per ASIN. Premium A+ Content allows up to seven, for brands that meet extra criteria.
You build it in Seller Central's A+ Content Manager by picking modules and filling in their fields. This tool writes the words for five modules and tells you what each image should show, so you can brief a designer or shoot the photos yourself.
The three layouts
| Layout | Modules | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Brand + features + comparison | Company Logo, Image Header With Text, Three Images & Text, Single Image & Highlights, Comparison Chart | Brands with a range of products |
| Features + how to use | Image Header With Text, Three Images & Text, Single Image & Highlights, Four Image & Text (as steps), Product Description Text | Products that need explaining |
| Features + comparison | Image Header With Text, Four Image & Text, Single Image & Highlights, Product Description Text, Comparison Chart | Selling up to a bigger size or model |
The comparison chart only compares your own products. Amazon's guide says not to reference or compare products with competitors. Where you haven't given a fact for another product, the chart shows [add] for you to fill in.
What A+ Content can't include
- Pricing, promotions and shipping details.
- QR codes, hyperlinks, directions to other websites and contact information.
- Warranty or guarantee information, and claims such as "best-selling".
- Comparisons with competitors.
- Low-resolution or animated images, or images you don't have the rights to use.
Those rules come from Amazon's A+ Content design guide. The tool follows them and lists anything it left out under Before you publish. Each A+ field shows its own character limit in the builder, and the tool keeps headlines under 60 characters and body text under 300 so they fit.
Questions people ask

How many A+ modules can I use?
Up to five per ASIN for Basic A+ Content, and up to seven for Premium A+ Content, according to Amazon's A+ guide.
