What the preview shows
Fill in your product's title, URL, description, price, rating and shipping details. The preview shows a simplified mock-up of how a rich result with that structured data could render, and the code panel gives you the actual Product JSON-LD to add to the page.
This is a preview, not a guarantee. Google decides at its own discretion whether to show any given rich result, based on the structured data, the page's overall quality and its own guidelines, and the exact visual layout can change over time.
Adding the code to your page
- Shopify: most current themes already generate this automatically from the product's own fields (price, images, description). Use this tool to check what different values would look like before you change them.
- WooCommerce: paste the generated
<script>tag into your product template, or use it to sanity-check what an SEO plugin's schema output should contain. - Always validate on the live page afterward with the product schema checker, since a copy-paste error in a script tag breaks the whole block silently.
Questions people ask
Will this guarantee my product gets a rich result?
No. Google chooses which rich results to display, and eligibility also depends on your site meeting its broader content and structured data guidelines, not just this one snippet.
Why does the preview look different from what I actually see on Google?
Google's real search results layout changes over time and varies by device and experiment. This is a simplified, representative mock-up, not a pixel-perfect simulator.
Do I need a rating to get a rich result?
No, rating is optional. Price and availability matter more for a merchant listing; a star rating is an extra element Google can add when the data is present.
What currency does the JSON-LD use?
USD by default in the generated code; edit the priceCurrency field in the output if you sell in a different currency.
