Bulk Product Description Generator
Paste up to 10 products, one per line, and get an import-ready CSV of descriptions with Shopify's or WooCommerce's own column headers.
One line in, one CSV row out
List each product as identifier | product name | details, one per line, up to 10 (any more are skipped and listed under Notes, to keep the request fast and the cost predictable). Pick where you're importing to, and the tool writes the matching header row plus one description per product.
| Import into | Header row | Matches existing products by |
|---|---|---|
| Shopify | Handle,Title,Body (HTML) | The product's URL handle |
| WooCommerce (by SKU) | SKU,Description | SKU |
| WooCommerce (by ID) | ID,Description | Product ID |
Shopify's importer only overwrites the columns you include, and only when you check Overwrite products with matching handles, so a Handle,Title,Body (HTML) file updates just those three fields and leaves prices, images and inventory alone.
Running the import
- 01
Copy the CSV block
Use Copy under Import file, then paste it into a spreadsheet or text editor and save it as a .csv file.
- 02
Shopify
Go to Products, click Import, choose the file, and check Overwrite products with matching handles before you confirm.
- 03
WooCommerce
Go to Products > All Products, click Import, choose the file, and on the column mapping screen confirm SKU (or ID) and Description map correctly.
Always test on a couple of products first. A CSV import changes live product data, and there's no undo beyond re-importing your last export.
Questions people ask
Why only 10 products at a time?
It keeps each request fast and the AI cost predictable. For a larger catalog, run it in batches of 10 and combine the CSV blocks before you import.
Will the CSV break my Shopify import?
It's built to Shopify's own header names and quoting rules (every Title and Body (HTML) value in double quotes, no line breaks inside a row), but always open it in a spreadsheet and check a row or two before you import.
What if a product line is missing its identifier?
The row gets [MISSING] in that cell and the tool flags it under Notes, so you can fix the identifier before importing rather than accidentally creating a blank match.
Can it use facts true for every product, like "Made in Portugal"?
Yes, add them under Facts true for every product and they're worked into each description without repeating the same sentence word for word.
Is it free?
Yes, with a fair-use limit so it stays free for everyone. There's no sign-up. Your product list is sent to an AI model only to write the result.
