Taste first, label facts second

People buy food online on taste, so the description opens with flavor and texture and how people eat it. Then come the sections allergy and diet shoppers rely on, copied from your label rather than rewritten.

  • Ingredients: copied exactly, in the same order, with every bracket.
  • Allergens: your statement copied exactly. This section is always included: if you leave it blank, the tool writes a bracketed reminder to add it.
  • Size and storage: net weight, storage and shelf life.

Allergens and diet claims

US law names nine major food allergens: milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soybeans and sesame (added January 1, 2023). Labels must name the allergen source, either in brackets in the ingredient list or in a "Contains" statement. Paste yours into Allergen statement as it is on the pack.

  • The tool never works out allergens itself and never writes "nut-free" or "gluten-free" unless you do.
  • "May contain" and shared-facility warnings are kept word for word.
  • Organic has defined tiers under USDA rules: "100 percent organic", "organic" (at least 95% organic ingredients) and "made with organic" (at least 70%). Only enter it under dietary claims if your product qualifies.
  • No health claims. It won't call a food healthy, a superfood or good for digestion.

Adding it to your store

Questions people ask

What should a food product description include?

How it tastes and feels to eat, how to use it, where it's made, the ingredients, the allergen statement, the net weight and how to store it.

Do I need to list allergens online?

Your label must declare the major allergens under US law, and shoppers can't read your label online. Repeating the exact statement on the product page is the safe choice, so the tool always includes an Allergens section.

Which allergens are the major ones in the US?

Milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soybeans and sesame, according to the FDA.

Can it call my product healthy or organic?

It won't make health claims. It only says organic, vegan, gluten-free and similar claims if you enter them, because each has its own rules or evidence behind it.

Is it free?

Yes, with a fair-use limit so it stays free for everyone. There's no sign-up. Your notes are sent to an AI model only to write the copy.
