Product Description Translator
Translate a product description into another market's language while keeping every HTML tag, number and brand name intact.
The HTML stays exactly as it was
Paste your description as HTML or plain text. The tool translates only the text between the tags: the same number of <p>, <li> and <h3> elements comes out as went in, in the same order, with nothing added, merged or removed.
- Numbers, units, percentages and care instructions are never converted or reworded: 100% linen stays 100% linen.
- Brand names, model numbers and anything you list under Words to keep in the original are left untouched.
- Choose informal (tu, du) or formal (usted, vous, Sie) address, and it uses the right form for the language: informal in German is du, formal is Sie; Polish formal uses Pan/Pani.
Using it with Shopify Markets or a multilingual WooCommerce plugin
- 01

Use Copy HTML (or Copy for plain text) under the result.
- 02
Shopify
In Settings > Languages, open Translate & Adapt for the language, find the product, and paste the translated description into its field.
- 03
WooCommerce
Paste it into your translation plugin's language tab for that product (for example WPML's or Polylang's translation editor).
- 04
Check before publishing
Read the Check before publishing list: it names any word left untranslated on purpose and any phrase with more than one fair translation, so you can adjust wording for your market.
Questions people ask
Will it change my HTML structure?
No. The same tags, in the same order, come back with only the text between them translated. Plain text in gives plain text out.
Does it convert sizes or currency for the target market?
No, on purpose. Sizes, units and prices often need business decisions (a US 8 isn't the same number as a UK 8), so the tool flags where a market may expect a different system rather than guessing a conversion.
What's the difference between informal and formal address?
Informal uses words like tu or du, common for younger or casual brands. Formal uses usted, vous or Sie, more common for premium or professional-sounding stores. Pick to match your brand's voice in that market.
Can it translate the product title too?
Yes, if you give one under Product title to translate too, it's translated alongside the description in its own section.
Is it free?
Yes, with a fair-use limit so it stays free for everyone. There's no sign-up. Your description text is sent to an AI model only to write the result.
