eBay to Shopify CSV Converter
Convert an eBay listings report to a Shopify product CSV.
Turn this on if your export lists each variation as its own row under the same listing title.
How it works
In eBay, go to Seller Hub → Reports → Downloads, download a Listings report, and upload that CSV here. Each listing's Custom label becomes the SKU, Available quantity becomes Shopify's inventory, and Picture URL (pipe-separated on eBay) becomes the product's images.
eBay listing exports don't cleanly separate variation details in a standard way, so by default every row becomes its own Shopify product.
Pitfalls
If several rows are really one listing's color or size options, turn on "Combine rows with the same title" below. It groups them under one product, using a column with "variation" in its name if your export has one, or the SKU otherwise, so check the preview before importing.
eBay's Condition value is added as a tag (like condition: New with tags) since Shopify has no direct equivalent field.
Questions people ask
Which eBay export does this need?
A Listings report from Seller Hub → Reports → Downloads. A File Exchange template works too, as long as it has Title, Custom label and Start price columns.
Does it bring over eBay's item specifics?
Not automatically; add those as Shopify metafields afterward if you need them.
Will my eBay category map to a Shopify collection?
The eBay category name becomes the product's Type, which you can use to build an automated collection in Shopify.
What if quantity is missing?
That variant's inventory tracking is left off in Shopify, so it won't limit sales until you set a quantity.
