Etsy Reviews to Shopify Converter
Turn a spreadsheet of your Etsy reviews into a clean CSV formatted for Judge.me, Loox or a generic Shopify reviews import.
Etsy has no built-in reviews export, so start from any spreadsheet of your reviews with these columns.
Starting from Etsy's reviews
Etsy doesn't give sellers a built-in reviews export. Start by copying your reviews (Shop Manager → Reviews) into a spreadsheet with columns for product, rating, review title, review text, reviewer name and email, date, and any photo URLs, or use a review-scraping browser tool that outputs a CSV. This converter then standardizes that data and writes it out in the format your review app's import screen expects.
- Generic reviews CSV: plain column names, useful for any app that lets you map columns during import.
- Judge.me-style CSV: follows Judge.me's commonly documented import columns.
- Loox-style CSV: follows Loox's commonly documented import columns.
Importing into your review app
- 01
Gather your Etsy reviews
Copy them into the sample format, or export with a scraping tool.
- 02
Pick a target format
Choose Judge.me, Loox or generic, based on which app you use.
- 03
Check the app's own template first
Both apps have a Reviews → Import → CSV screen with a downloadable sample file. Open it and compare column names before a bulk import, since apps update their import format from time to time.
- 04
Import and match products
Use the Product handle or SKU column to match each review to the right Shopify product.
Pitfalls
- Column names for Judge.me and Loox aren't guaranteed to be exactly current: this tool couldn't verify them against a live import screen, so always compare against the app's own downloadable sample before a real import.
- A rating outside 1–5 is flagged as an error.
- Use the product's Shopify handle, not its Etsy listing title, wherever you can: titles can drift between platforms and break the match.
Questions people ask
Can Etsy reviews be exported directly?
No. Etsy has no seller-facing reviews export, so you need to copy them manually or use a third-party scraping tool first.
Which review app should I use on Shopify?
That depends on your budget and features. Judge.me and Loox both accept CSV import; check pricing and features on their own sites before choosing.
Will star ratings and photos come across?
Ratings, yes. Photos come across as URLs if your source data has them; most review apps need to fetch and re-host the image during import, so slow or broken source URLs may not make it.
What if the app's column names have changed?
Open the app's own Reviews → Import screen and download its current sample CSV, then rename this tool's output columns to match before uploading.
