PrestaShop to WooCommerce Converter
Convert a PrestaShop product export into a WooCommerce product CSV, with best-effort combination support.
Products and combinations
This tool reads Name, Description, Reference (as SKU), Price tax excluded, Quantity, Categories and Image URLs from a PrestaShop product export, and converts each active row to a WooCommerce simple product.
PrestaShop normally exports combinations (its name for variants) to a separate file. If your export has a Combinations column formatted as Attribute:Value pairs, with combos separated by | (for example Color:Red,Size:M|Color:Red,Size:L), this tool expands it into a WooCommerce variable product. If your combinations live in a separate file, add that column by hand first, or import combinations as their own simple products and group them afterward.
Exporting and importing
- 01
Export from PrestaShop
Catalog → Product Settings → Export, or use the built-in Export tab on the products list.
- 02
Convert
Upload the file here and check that prices (tax excluded) and combinations look right.
- 03
Import into WooCommerce
Products → All Products → Import.
Pitfalls
- Column names on export files change between app versions and store settings. This tool matches a wide set of likely header names and shows a live preview, so check the preview against your file before you download.
- PrestaShop's “Price tax excluded” becomes WooCommerce's Regular price. Check your tax settings in WooCommerce afterward: WooCommerce can add tax on top depending on Tax status and your tax class rates.
- Inactive products (Active = 0) still convert, but are flagged so you can leave them as drafts.
Questions people ask
Where does the Combinations column come from?
It isn't a standard PrestaShop export column. Add it to your file by hand (or export it separately and merge it in) using the Attribute:Value format described above, or skip variations and rebuild them in WooCommerce.
Does EAN13 or GTIN transfer?
Not in this version. Add it to the GTIN column in the download if you need it, matching row by row.
Will my category tree carry over?
The Categories (x,y,z) column becomes a WooCommerce category path. Rebuild your actual category hierarchy in WooCommerce and assign products to it.
Can I run a validation check first?
Yes, upload the downloaded file to the WooCommerce CSV validator.
