Drop your Squarespace product export here or browse files

CSV up to 25 MB. It's read in your browser and never uploaded.

The measurement unit your Squarespace store used, under Commerce → Shipping.

How it works

Export your catalog from Squarespace (Commerce → Inventory → Export) and upload the CSV here. Rows sharing the same Product ID become one Shopify product with up to three variant options; a row marked On Sale carries its Sale Price and Price over as Shopify's Price and Compare-at price.

Squarespace weight is usually in pounds; set the unit below to match your store's setting under Commerce → Shipping.

Redirects and importing

Squarespace product pages are usually just your site root plus the page's own URL slug. Switch the download to "URL redirects" for a ready-to-import redirect file, but check a few real URLs first since Squarespace slugs don't always match the handle this tool builds.

Import the product CSV at Products → Import, and the redirect file separately at Content → Menus → URL redirects → Import.

Questions people ask

Does it handle sale pricing?

Yes. When On Sale is Yes, Sale Price becomes the new Price and the regular Price becomes the Compare-at price.

What about product categories?

The first category on each product becomes its Shopify Type; add the rest as tags or collections by hand.

Will image order carry over?

Yes, images from the Hosted Image URLs column keep their order as Shopify's Image position.

Does this cover Squarespace's newer Fluid Engine templates?

The product export format is the same regardless of template, since it comes from Commerce, not the page builder.
