How the conversion works

Export your catalog from Wix → Store → Products → Export. This tool reads name, description, SKU, price, inventory, collection, image URL and up to two option name/value pairs, and rebuilds simple or variable WooCommerce products.

When your export includes the product page URL, it's carried into an extra Old URL column at the end of the download. Copy that column into the Nginx redirect generator or a redirect plugin to send old Wix links to their new WooCommerce pages.

Importing into WooCommerce

    Export from Wix

    Wix Dashboard → Store Products → Export, then choose All products or a specific catalog.

    Convert and check the preview

    Look at a few rows, especially prices and any option-based products.

    Import

    Products → All Products → Import in WooCommerce. Map any column WooCommerce didn't recognize automatically.

Pitfalls

  • Column names on export files change between app versions and store settings. This tool matches a wide set of likely header names and shows a live preview, so check the preview against your file before you download.
  • Wix inventory tracking and WooCommerce's stock management aren't identical: turn on stock management under WooCommerce → Settings → Products → Inventory before or after the import.
  • Set up 301 redirects before you switch DNS over, so search engines and old links don't hit 404 pages.

Questions people ask

Where do I export my Wix catalog?

Wix Dashboard → Store Products, then the Export button, which downloads a CSV of your catalog.

Does it handle multiple product options?

Up to two option pairs (like Color and Size) are expanded into WooCommerce variations. Products with more options need manual review.

Do I still need to redo my images?

Image URLs are carried across, and WooCommerce's importer can fetch them during import. Re-upload any that fail once your Wix site is offline, since the URLs won't resolve anymore.

How do I redirect my old Wix URLs?

Copy the Old URL column from the download into the Nginx redirect generator, or paste old-to-new pairs into a plugin like Redirection if you're on Apache.
